Services were 1 p.m. Monday, May 9, at Montgomery-Viets Funeral Home in Buffalo with Bro. Brad Duff officiating. Recorded music selections of “Second Chance,” “Call Me” and “Amazing Grace,” were played. Burial was in Reynolds Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Montgomery-Viets Funeral Home. Escorts were Michael Gardner, Brett Hinds, Justin Carpenter, Curtis Jackson, Dean White and Derek Graevs. Honorary escorts were T.J. Mathews and Jon Bradley. Brandon Lee “Bubba” Gardner, 25, was born May 17, 1985, in Garland, Texas, the son of Mark and Lisa (Lilley) Gardner. He died May 4, 2011. He was a loving and caring young man that always had a smile for everyone he met. His family was the most important thing to him and he loved them dearly. He loved to cook, hunt, fish and ride four-wheelers. He accepted the Lord as his Savior at an early age and always tried to live his life right. He was the type of young man that would do anything for anyone. He loved spending time with his family and many friends and could always make a person smile. He had the ability to walk into any room and light that room up with his beautiful smile. He was a young man that had a love for life and making people happy. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Charles and Helen Gardner; paternal great-grandmother, Zoe Peters; and his maternal great-grandparents, Hadley and Hazel Thomas. Survivors include his mother, Lisa and husband, Brandell Floyd, Buffalo; his father, Mark and wife, Tara Gardner, Elkland; his brother, Michael and wife, Sara Gardner, Buffalo; his sister, Alicia and husband, Todd Karst, Jefferson City; his nieces: Kynley Gardner, Buffalo, and Amara Hageman, Jefferson City; grandparents, Deryl and Nancy Lilley, Buffalo; great-grandparents, Maynard and Lucille Lilley, Buffalo; his aunts and uncles: Carrie and Randy Knapp, Long Lane, Donna and Dale Nesson, Tunas, and Linda and Dan Austin, Fair Grove; his cousins: Kristin Knapp, Lebanon, Shelly and Ryan Bilyeu, Conway, and Missy and Bryan Littrel, Florida; and other family and many friends. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
