Mrs. Patricia Ellen Lane

Patricia Ellen Lane passed away on May 18, 2019 in her home at age 81. Pat was born May 4, 1938 to Alice and Ishmael McDaniel and was the first of four children, followed by Harry, Brenda and Karen. On April 27, 1957 she married her lifelong partner John David Lane. They were happily married for 61 years. On March 29, 1958 they welcomed their only daughter Janet Annette followed later in life by her four grandchildren Erik and triplets Jessica, Jackie and Jason. Pat enjoyed life to the fullest. Most important to her was her family. She dedicated her life to her husband, her daughter and her grandkids. She was actively involved in managing the finances of their family business and farm. She loved to volunteer at her grandkids school and loved attending their sporting and music events. She was a lifelong member of Central Christian Church. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Alice and Ishmael McDaniel. She is survived by her husband John David Lane of the home; daughter, Janet Annette Davis & husband Chris of Springfield, MO; grandchild, Erik Bradley Anderson & wife Morgan of Seattle, WA; great-grandchildren, Indiana Grace and Canyon Rogers; grandchild, Jessica Drew Kissinger & husband Jon of Tulsa, OK; great-grandchildren, Harper Leigh and Kennedy Rose; grandchild, Jackie Leigh DuPont & husband Michael of Tulsa, OK; great-grandchildren, Claire Sophia and Katherine Audrey; grandchild, Jason Nathaniel Anderson & wife Megan of Roeland Park, KS; great-grandchildren, Nicholas William and Annabelle Noel; brother, Harry McDaniel & wife Darlena of Strafford, MO; sister, Brenda Klein & husband Larry (deceased) of Liberty, MO; nephew, Rupert Evans Klein & wife Lorraine of Kansas City, MO; great-nephew/nieces, Rupert S., Tyler and triplets Dustin, Megan and Abby Klein; and sister, Karen McDaniel of Long Lane, MO. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at the Cantlon Otterness & Viets Chapel with Rev. Geoff Weinman officiating. Escorts will be Jason Anderson, Erik Anderson, Dale Lane, Michael DuPont, Jon Kissinger, Robert Hunget, and Steve Shaffer. Interment will be in the Wollard Cemetery in Long Lane, Missouri under the care and direction of the Cantlon Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Funeral Home. The Family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Wollard Cemetery, 230 Wollard Rd, Long Lane, Mo 65590.
