Timmy Dean Bradshaw

Timmy Dean Bradshaw, 70, formerly of Urbana, walked into the arms of his Lord and Savior on August 20, 2024. Timmy was born on October 12,1953 at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, Missouri to Audie and Jewell Bradshaw of Goodson, Missouri, and was the youngest of their three children. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Southwest Missouri State University. On June 29,1974 Timmy married his beloved wife, Carla (Philbert). In 1977, they welcomed their first child, Jeremy. In 1978, the family moved to Lincoln, Missouri where Timmy owned and operated Lincoln Automotive Supply. Their family became complete when they were blessed with their daughter, Meleshia, in 1986. Timmy loved hunting, fishing, frequenting a good livestock auction, and raising beef cattle. He took pride in a well-timed joke and loved to make people laugh. He found joy in spending time with his children and grandchildren. He loved them deeply and never failed to tell them when he saw them. Timmy was a born-again Christian and a proud member of the Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church in Polk County. Timmy lived his life for the Lord and had an unwavering faith in Him, no matter what trials came his way. His deepest desire was for his loved ones to have that same steadfast relationship with God. Timmy was preceded in death by his wife Carla; his parents Audie and Jewell; an infant brother, Larry Gene; his father-in-law, Wayne Philbert; and his brother-in-law, Kent King. He is survived by his son Jeremy (Juli) Bradshaw of Marceline, Missouri; his daughter Meleshia Bradshaw of Springfield, Missouri; his sister Sandra King and her fiancé, Ross Stroupe of Rolla, Missouri; his three grandchildren Tanner Bradshaw, Isabelle Colfer, and Eliana Colfer; his mother-in-law Erma Philbert of Preston, Missouri, as well as beloved cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends who will miss him immensely. Visitation will be held Saturday, August 24, 2024, at 1:00pm at Hopewell Missionary Baptist Church in Polk County, immediately followed by the funeral services and burial at Hopewell Cemetery at 2:00pm with Brother Wayne Rash officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home, Buffalo.
