Betty Jane Rogers, age 87 of Buffalo, MO passed away Saturday, May 16, 2020 in her home. She was born on August 18, 1932 in Buffalo, MO to Joe and Lettie (Daulton) Turner. Betty was saved as a young girl and was a member at the North Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church. Betty was united in marriage to Harold Rogers, and to this union five children were born. Betty was a great cook, loved flowers and care giver to her husband Harold. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold Rogers; three brothers, Bobby Wayne Turner, Billy Joe Turner and James Turner; one sister, Wanda Skinner; two sisters-in-law, Margaret Turner and June Turner; seven brothers-in-law, Cecil Adams, Arthur Howe, Vinis Skinner, Orlan Hale, Ralph Rogers, Roy Rogers, and Jim Rogers; and a good friend and neighbor, Helen Reed. She is survived by her five children, Steve Rogers & wife Angie, Diane Canon & husband David, Sherry Dill & husband Mark, Lisa Phillips & husband Michael, and Twyla Jones & husband Kyle; fourteen grandkids, Holly Rogers, Julie Caston & husband Eric, Bethany Rogers, Cody Rogers, Kelsey Stubblefield, Aaron Canon, John Stubblefield, Jessica Caston and Husband Steve, Jared Dill, Hannah Phillips, Heidi Phillips, Jessica Mankey & husband Nathan, Erica Jones & fiancé Ryan Christopher, and Bradley Jones & wife Ashley; eight great-grandkids, Andrew, Hadlee, Cooper, Makinlea, Braysen, Aiden, Riley, and Braikley; three sisters, Chloe Adams, Faye Howe, and Evelyn Hale; and one sister-in-law, Reba Turner. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, and friends who will all truly miss her. She was fondly known as Granny Bets, Sugar Mamma and Granny. Graveside service will be 1:00 pm Wednesday, May 20, 2020 in the Macedonia Cemetery with Brother Dusty Armstrong Officiating. Pallbearers will be Lynn Howe, Gene Adams, Dennis Skinner, Rick Hale, Roger Woods, and Bill Turner. Burial will be in the Macedonia Cemetery under the direction of the Cantlon-Otterness & Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo, Missouri.
