Mrs. Rosie Ann Peterson
July 12, 1921 - April 24, 2020
Rosie Ann Peterson (age 98), passed away in the home Friday April 24, 2020. She was born in Plad, Missouri to James Rush and Lena Leota Taylor. She married Edwin Ellard Peterson on May 4th, 1941. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by 3 sisters and her daughter Pearl Ann Henrikson. Survivors include daughter, Kay and husband Leon Pesnell of Eudora Kansas; two sons, Larry and wife Joanne of Berryton Kansas; Tony and wife Debbie of Eudora Kansas; son-in-law Bob Henrikson and wife Cecile of Elkland Missouri; 3 sisters-in-law, Shirley Dame and Husband Gerald of Lebanon Missouri; Genevieve Peterson of Fresno California; and Darlene Henderson of Springfield Missouri. Survivors also include 12 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. Rosie enjoyed being with people especially her church family. She also enjoyed playing guitar, singing, traveling, and reading. Graveside services will be held at New Hope Cemetery, Louisburg Missouri Thursday April 30th at 1pm.
