David Webb Fielder

David Webb Fielder of Buffalo, MO passed away on April 3, 2017 at the age of 68. He was born in Springfield, MO to Henry Fielder and Ann (Little) Fielder on September 21, 1948. Ann later married Bill Harmon who raised David as his own beloved son. David attended Buffalo High School and graduated in 1967. On February 23, 1968, he was united in marriage to Lynn Cooksey. They enjoyed 36 years of marriage before her passing in June 2004. The couple had three children, Mike, Davie, and Kerrie. On December 1, 2007, David married Mary Spurlock. David worked as a cowboy for the Black Jack Cattle Company in Yates Center, KS; drove for Meek’s Lumber in Buffalo, MO; and drove for FedEx Freight in Springfield, MO. He retired from FedEx in May 2009 following 18 years of service. After retirement, he enjoyed mowing, traveling, and spending time with family. He was a Christian and member of Calvary Chapel. David is preceded in death by his father Henry Fielder, sister Jolena Johnson, wife Lynn Fielder, and son Davie Fielder. He is survived by his wife Mary Fielder; son Mike Fielder and wife Tonya of Nixa, MO; daughter Kerrie Ambrose and husband Chris of Republic, MO; grandsons Lane Fielder of Buffalo, MO, and Hunter and Logan Fielder of Nixa, MO; sister Susie Powell and husband Jack of Marshfield, MO; brother Wayne Johnson and wife Regina of Buffalo, MO; sister Dianna Cowden and husband Jeff of Elkland, MO; sister Kim Hendrix and husband Wade of Elkland, MO; parents Bill and Ann Harmon of Elkland, MO; step-daughter Melanie Mobley and husband Rob of Willard, MO; step-daughter Shannon Elliott and husband Mark of Buffalo, MO; and many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and in-laws. Funeral Services was held Saturday, April 8th at 10:00 A.M at the Calvary Chapel FWB Church in Buffalo with Rev's. Doug Earls and Mark Elliott officiating. Music was recorded selections " If We Never Meet Again This Side Of Heaven", "Hallelujah", and "Amazing Grace My Chains Are Gone". Pallbearers were Max Pulley, Jason Johnson, Joshua Cowden, Phillip Hendrix, Dusty Gann, and Tim Jasper. Interment was in Maple Lawn Cemetery under the direction of the Montgomery-Viets Funeral Home of Buffalo.
