Travis Ray Bryant

Travis Ray Bryant, the son of Ray Bryant and Roxanne Jones, was born August 6th, 1980, in Russellville, Kentucky, and departed this life on Saturday, November 4th, 2023, at his home in Halfway, Missouri. At the time of his passing, he was forty-three years old. Travis is survived by his father, Ray Bryant; Mother, Roxanne Jones; One Sister, Niki Hatfield, and her four children, Haley and her husband Jerry Riggs, Dalton and his wife Kassidy Brightwell, Jace and Jaxon Hatfield; One Brother, Tim Horton and his wife Adrianna Horton and their son Jayson Horton, and a host of family and friends who will miss him dearly. Travis grew up in Arkansas, loving sports, and the Razorbacks. He graduated from Southside High School in 1999 in Batesville, Arkansas, where he had the honor of being named 1999 Mr. Southerner for his outstanding athleticism in basketball. Travis then set out on his adventure as an adult, exploring different places and jobs throughout the Continental United States. Travis was always up for the next journey ahead. He let the road take him wherever God was guiding him. In his early twenties, he found his way to Springfield, Missouri; here is where his heart would stay. Travis settled around Pleasant Hope and Halfway, Missouri, where he found a piece of land that was Heaven here on earth in his heart and soul. This is where Travis poured out his love and hard work and nurtured this piece of land into his pride and joy. Travis may not have ever gotten married or had children, but to him, this land, and his beloved dog Stormy (his little Frenchie) were what most would refer to as his place of peace and happiness. Travis was a man that had such a loving and kind nature that you couldn’t help but want to know him and be around him. To know Travis was to Love Travis! Anywhere he went or anyone he met soon became more than friends they would quickly become family to him and him a family member to them because of his nature and who he was. Travis was a person who loved his family, especially his mom. Travis was always the bright light in the room, shining with love and joy. He was always willing to help anyone who needed him; he was always ready for a cookout and to hit the road for a ride. Travis was always one to be able to drive anything with a motor on it, no matter what the circumstances were. He loved taking the open and undefined roads that led him through different seasons of his life; this is where he would find his peace, balance, and quiet time with his heavenly father. Travis is an irreplaceable soul who was loved by so many; he will be missed beyond words and remembered in so many ways. Thank You Travis for all the Love and Laughter you brought to all our lives! You will always live in our HEARTS! I CALL TO YOU FROM THE ENDS OF THE EARTH WHEN MY HEART IS WITHOUT STRENGTH. A celebration of life will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, November 10, 2023 in Halfway, MO @ Travis’ Place. An evening to celebrate with friends & family over a good meal & telling stories of time with Travis.
